Product Update: March 2025

Welcome to this month's update of newly released features. We recently launched a few pay features that make it easier to pay contractors on-demand and keep payments running on autopilot. We also incorporated AI into our I-9 workflow to improve fraud detection. And, we have fresh monetizing worker payments content for you.

Pay

paycardtrigger

Paycard disbursements on-demand - For companies doing 1099 contractor payments who want more control or to pay after a job/shift is completed, we’ve made it possible to send funds to a paycard whenever you want. Now you can use the API to trigger funds from being sent to a paycard at any time. Learn more.

Top up flows
- To ensure you always pay workers on time, we’ve implemented automated transfer workflows with rules so that you always have money in your reserve account. You can either set funds to transfer based on an account minimum and maximum, or based on a schedule. This is especially helpful for companies using Instant Pay, Paycards, or Direct Pay to more easily manage your reserve. Learn more.

Onboard

I-9 AI evaluations - We’re now incorporating AI models when evaluating IDs to more accurately surface potentially fraudulent ID submissions. Admins will be able to see a task in the Dashboard with details about what the evaluation determined to review before being sent to E-Verify. Details of the evaluation are also available in the API and the I-9 summary report.

New content

We have a few new pieces of content available this month related to monetizing worker payments. If you’re curious about how to make money and create a better worker experience you should read our new guide. And if you’re interested in understanding how compliance for Paycards and Digital Wallets work, you should watch our webinar.

We’ve also published customer stories of a few Zeal customers seeing real results from using the platform.

If you’re looking to upgrade your worker and admin experience, or optimize your workflows and your cash flows, please contact us. We’d love to show you how our solutions can help you reduce costs, improve worker retention, and unlock new revenue streams.
